Exciting times ahead
Tomorrow should be a great day. My new furniture is coming tomorrow morning. It's the first new furniture I've ever bought myself... and nearly the first new furniture I've ever had. Of course, Josh and the Knicknames will be playing at the Blue Note tomorrow night. Everyone should be there, no excuses (I'm looking at you, Clint.) I could start my new job any day now. I'm kind of excited, kind of bummed. I really need the money, and I think I get my own office, which is cool. Plus I'll more than likely work extra in Rehab. There are new pics at the bigginning of the slide show on my Myspace profile. Feel free to check it out at http://www.myspace.com/j_badass . | | Sunday, May 14th, 2006 | | 3:55 pm |
Happy Mother's Day
I graduated yesterday, even though I won't get my diploma until August. It wasn't bad. It was great to hang out with Scott, Josh, Scrub, and Zach (and I guess Clint, too) for a while last night. Had a great time. I'll probably find out whether or not I got that job tomorrow, here's hoping, but it's out of my hands now. Eventhough I like the job I have, I can't afford to keep it much longer. My basement office is full of wierd stuff... it's starting to look a little like the bat cave. I have anime posters, Blues Brothers memorabilia, action figures, 1/24 scale race cars, an ohio license plate from Lebonon Correctional that says "visit", my cap - gown - and graduate hood hanging from the ceiling, the ball and chain Ben and Aaron made for me when I got married, and empty bottle of Captain Morgan Private Stock, old band pictures, a garden gnome, seven bobble heads (three of them from Dragon Ball Z), a Darth Vader helmet wearing a cowboy hat, a plush Hamtaro, a Maat (egyptian goddess of justice) clock, a black and white photocopy of my bachelor's degree hanging on the wall, a shelf full of Criminal Justice books, a shelf full of fiction books written mostly by English authors (Tolkien, Rowling, Adams, ect.), and a bunch of other crap. I'm really starting to dig it. Now if I can just get it organized. | | Wednesday, May 10th, 2006 | | 10:40 am |
Graduation, other stuff: you're invited
For some reason I decided I wanted to buy new furniture yesterday... so I did. We got a recliner and sofa, spent about $1300. They should be here in about two weeks. Signed up for my internship. Apparently I already have almost two-thirds of it done. They tell me I could've been clocking hours at work this whole semester. Oh well. I have to do 100 hours in a different department, luckily I have a job interview to move to another department on Friday. Let's hope it goes well, because that would be a $5,000/yr raise. I know there is a shit load of stuff going on Saterday, however, I graduate(walk)at 2:00PM at the Cintas Center on the campus of Xavier University. Feel free to come if you are inclined to attend. Give me a call for more info. Also, some of my friends from work will be at Mutt's Saterday night, one of them is DJing, and two of us are graduating from Xavier with our Master's degrees. I'd like to spend a little time there, but I also need to see Scott while he's in town for one day, and I haven't seen Lee Ann in forever. Also there is some kind of get-together at my Mom's house in the early evening that I should make an apperance at. So anyway, if you'd like to join me at Mutt's for a while, or you're name is Scrub or Scott Burns and I haven't got around to calling you for more info yet, feel free to call me. WWE VS ECW Head to Head
My wife and I have procured third row floor seats for WWE vs. ECW Head to Head at the Nutter Center, June 7, 2006. It's a little present for myself in honor of my upcoming graduation. The tickets went on sale at 10 this morning, so there is still time to get good seats if you would like to shell out the cash and come along. Or you can stay home and watch it on USA. | | Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006 | | 12:35 am |

Great day
I had a great day yesterday. First of all, I turned in my thesis, I'm glad I never have to worry about that again. I wanted to talk to my intership advisor while I was down there, but he never showed up for his office hours. However, my old undergard advisor (who retired two years ago, by the way) showed up in the office. He really likes me 'cause I'm like the second guy ever to do the entire program in three years. Anyway, he gave me lots of good information and people to call for my intership so I might be able to make it useful, instead of just getting it done doing the same old shit. I took my corrections final last night, and my Prof let us all colaborate on it. Afterwards I bs'd with him for a while about where I should go with my career and the possibility of teaching in the future. I had training at work, so I didn't have to deal with any dumbass kids, which is nice. Oh, and I got a call that they want to interview me for a job I applied for in the probation department. Hopefully that will go well. To top that all off, I'm going to Smackdown in Cincy tonight, right after I go vote in the good 'ol Republican primary. Good times, indeed. | | Sunday, April 23rd, 2006 | | 12:11 am |

Went to Mutt's with some of my coworkers last night. I tried to invite some of my friends, but Scrub didn't have his phone on, Josh doesn't have his phone anymore, and Ben and Aaron said Mutt's was too gross to go to. Anyway, I had a pretty decent time. Played pool with some guy named Joel who said he used to hang out with Clint. One of my friends did get her purse stolen, which really blows for her. Also, Josh and/or Scrub, are you guys going to play Mutt's sometime so I don't have to drive all the way to Cincinnati on a freaking Wednesday to see you play? There's a few people at work who would like to see you play, as well. I told them about Rock n' Roll Zombies. One of the kids at work today was talking about how much he likes Hawthorne Heights... I made fun of him. | | Wednesday, March 15th, 2006 | | 7:13 pm |

No poker game this week. I have to work second shift (part of a deal I had to do to get out of work to go to class next week.) Hopefully next week. | | Wednesday, February 15th, 2006 | | 10:44 pm |
Who should do my next tattoo?
I was going to get some work done at the Hell City Tattoo Fest in Columbus in May. Mostly because I didn't think there was anyone in the Cincinnati area that was worth a damn. Then Kat Von D posted a message on her myspace about how Kore Platmo is her favorite tattoo artist of all time, and he happens to be based in Cincinnati. Check out his stuff, it's unbelievable. I think I may call him in a few days, but I'm still thinking about having Joe Capobianco do the work for me. | | Thursday, February 9th, 2006 | | 5:27 pm |

After you die... the Beetlejuice Waiting Room
After death, you will end up in an overcrowded waiting room sitting beside Beetlejuice. You've been given the number 736 076 827 378 919 023, but they are currently serving number 3. Good Luck.
